Our photographers are highly trained in City Hall wedding photography, poses, and lighting. It is the requirement that our photographers own and bring at least 2 professional-grade DSLR or mirrorless cameras with the appropriate lenses to capture the intimate nature of city hall wedding photography as well as the architecture of the building.

We all have a passion for anything simple, fun, and easy - just like city hall weddings. We love to be there for the most important day of your life, and we understand fully that no matter how small the ceremony, it is a BIG deal!

Who are the photographers?

The photographers make a minimum of $60 per wedding and up to $120 per wedding. The work outside of shooting time for them is minimal. We expect every photographer to spend about 3 hours per wedding, which brings their hourly wages to well above minimum wage.

Also, gratuity is of course not mandatory, but highly encouraged! If they did a wonderful job and made a pleasant impact on your wedding day, please do thank them and gratuity is always a nice way to show appreciation!

What if I am getting married in a city hall, not on the list?

Once you know your wedding date and ceremony time, please head over here! We will do the hard work of finding an available photographer for you! Once you are matched with your amazing photographer, we will send you information on the photographer complete with a bio and a photo so you know who to look for on your wedding day!

You will also receive a proposal (awe, kind of like what you gave/received for your engagement!) to officially book your photoshoot with us - with a $60 deposit, which will go towards your photo purchase!

How do I book a photographer?

We will get back to you within 48 hours with a matching photographer or whether we were unable to match you with a photographer.

If in the unlikely event that there are no available MMACH photographers, we will provide you with a list of budget-friendly photographers that may be available for your wedding! They will not be as budget-friendly as us, but these will be photographers that we know will produce amazing photos for you, while not breaking the bank too much.

What if there are no photographers available for my wedding date/time?

At this point, we do not have the option to choose specific photographers as we will match based on availability. Please be ensured that all of our photographers are held to the same standards, have undergone the same training, and they are all amazing and embrace the same motto - “simple, fun, and easy”!

What if I want to book the photographer again?

Yes - you will be charged $60 when you book, and that will automatically give you 3 images! If you purchase 10 or more, the pricing will be less.

Is there a minimum purchase requirement?

We can make that happen if it’s within the city where you are getting married or 10 mile radius! That will be considered an additional session, so an additional $60 deposit will be secured at the time of booking.

What if I wanted an additional photo session outside of city hall?

Once you are placed with a photographer, your credit card will be charged $60. This will go towards your photo purchases, or on the unlikely scenario that you have to cancel the photoshoot, our photographers are properly compensated for their time.

We do have a minimum purchase requirement of 3 photographs, so that amount will go towards those photographs.

We will send you specific details on where to meet the photographer for each city hall location. Each city hall is a little different, but most likely, we will meet you at the Clerk’s Office where you will check-in for your ceremony.

Honestly? It’s up to you! On average, outside of the ceremony process, most people spend about 45 minutes taking photos. Some a little less, some more. It also depends on the size of City Hall.

How long is the photo session?

Most city hall weddings require a form of ID and marriage license. So that’s the basic thing you need to bring! Also, if you are not having a confidential marriage, you will need to bring a witness. Most of our photographers are available to be your witness, and if you do need them to be a witness, we will be sure to match you with one of those photographers.

Some people also like to bring fun items like "just married" sign, wear a veil, bring flowers, and bubbles to blow outside as you exit! It's your day - make it fun!

Can the photographer be a witness?

Most city hall personnel are understanding and can wait up to 15 minutes. After that, it really is up to their discretion to try to fit you in.

If the wedding happens accordingly, even if you are late, there will not be a financial penalty on your part. We just want you to get married and have amazing photos!

If for any reason, under extremely rare case the wedding cannot happen due to your tardiness, the $60 deposit will be taken as a cancellation fee.

If the photographer is late, we will give the $60 back and you will automatically be credited $60 towards the photo purchases. The photographer will start photographing as soon as they get there and stay for as long as necessary to get your photos!

If you have to cancel your wedding/wedding photography for any reason, please let us know as soon as you can!

Any cancellation within 24 hours will be fully refunded. Anything shorter than that, we will unfortunately have to keep the $60 deposit as our photographers have already arranged their day/income to account for your session.

However, if you do end up booking with us again for your rescheduled wedding, we will be more than happy to credit you the $60 towards that session!

What happens if we have to cancel?

That's ok! We get that people didn't get the best photos when you actually got married there, or you simply want to take photos at a gorgeous building. We got you covered! Just book a session for the date/time you will like the photoshoot, and we will show up as usual!

What if we are not actually getting married at City hall but just want photos there?

How soon will I receive the images to view and decide to purchase?

You will receive your digital images within 2 days, but usually almost immediately!

For printed products, please allow 2-3 weeks for production and delivery.

Meet Me at City Hall LLC is the owner of the copyrights for the images. But you will have shared print and personal use rights to the images.

You may purchase the RAW files of the images for PERSONAL use only.

Once the digital images or print products are purchased, there are no refunds or exchanges.

Our photographers are trained by the same photographer who has photographed over 100 city hall weddings in a year, and more. They know exactly where to photograph and how, down to some key poses and how to get amazing candid expressions from our couples. As such, the photos will look similar to our photos in our current portfolio!

What's even more reassuring? We have editors that edit all the images consistently! The tones, exposure, lightness will all look similar to what you see in our portfolio, so you can rest assured that what you see is what you will get!
